The Challenge

A pioneering medical technology solutions provider with a legacy from the 1970s has been dedicated to enhancing patient care and reducing healthcare costs through innovative diagnostic solutions and services for hospitals worldwide. However, as the organization expanded globally, it encountered process bottlenecks related to international trade caused by restricted party screening and item classification within its on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite ERP medical technology solution provider with a legacy from the system.

The organization decided to migrate its ERP system from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Cloud ERP, reaching out to Accelalpha to implement Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) and integrate it with the new cloud ERP system.
