Client Success Story
Oldcastle unifies logistics operations with Oracle Transportation Management
The Challenge
Oldcastle migrated from on-premises to OTM Cloud to stay current on the latest release and implement new features into their business processes.
Oldcastle was using OTM on premises but had not deployed the solution to the entirety of its business or taken advantage of the full capabilities of OTM. By migrating to the Cloud, Oldcastle deployed OTM across the entire company, implemented functionality to improve its fleet operations, and consolidated its logistics operation to better leverage opportunities.
Our Approach
Oldcastle selected OTM on-premises in 2014 because OTM provided a flexible solution to meet all of Oldcastle's business needs and support its fleet management operations. Oldcastle determined that OTM Cloud still was the best software solution to meet their transportation requirements. OTM Cloud had added several features into the application related to bulk planning, fleet optimization, and other capabilities in fleet management that were very key to what Oldcastle uses and helps logistics be more efficient and effective.
